Are you concerned about the rising costs of university education?
Do you feel like university could be a more pro-active and meaningful place?

Are you interested in helping to create an affordable university in
Canada that is based on values of social and environmental responsibility?

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join a working group to
help organise a weekend "Discourse on Alternative Post-Secondary
Education in Canada" to be held towards the end of August, 2005. The goal of this weekend retreat is to bring together academics, students,
professors, and individuals from across the country, to vision and discuss
how to best go about creating an alternative university in Canada that is
both accessible and based on values of environmental and social
sustainability.
