	{ About LWAC } We are a group of artists from the London, Ontario, Canada area with a wide range of talents, skill and creative passions. We meet frequently to paint, sew, knit, discuss, play, admire and inspire. Our artist focus is based on Women, Art & the Environment. We frequently design projects around this theme, and express & empower ourselves through the art medium. No matter your artistic method, we invite you to participate with us. There is no fee to join the collective. We encourage all women to get involved, meet artists with similar goals and values. Please don't pass yourself off as not being artistic enough. We are all learning and experimenting and teaching each other whatever skills we know. { Events } Our next event will be a Crochet Workshop, taking place on Saturday, January 20th,from 2-4PM at Melissa's house (need directions?) If you would like to learn how to crochet, help teach others skills, share techniques and each others company, come on over. All skill levels welcome! If you have any crochet needles or worsted wool, please bring it along. Caroline W. will be leading the class. (Thanks Caroline!) {Past Events } We meet in comfortable environments, whether in homes, studios or parks and so far we have started a collaborative quilt, learned sil-screening together, held a board game social and participated in the Regional Social Forum by having a super fun art booth and allowing everyone a chance to join in. We hope to hold more workshops and possible have a art show or other festivities in the future.
